"AMERICA'S NATIONAL EXPERIMENT IN DEMOCRATIC IDEALS"

Tuesdays from 6:15-9:15 p.m. Curtiss Hall (Room 210) "America's National Experiment in Democratic Ideals" is a lecture/seminar course open to undergraduate students (Political Science 476M) and graduate students (Political Science 576M) for pass-fail credit. (Alternatively, a variation of this course "The Future of American Democracy", PSC 475M-575M may be taken for alphabetically-graded credit.

The instructor, drawing upon theoretical, political, and personal expertise and experience, will challenge conventional thinking about America with critical but constructive analysis. Students should bring to this course requisite background and interest in attending classes, reading outside materials, engaging in seminars, and assisting in individualized research projects. Grades for "America's National Experiment in Democratic Ideals" will be assigned on a pass-fail basis. |
