Former Congressman Glen Browder’s new book on American democracy sold out at a recent signing event in Washington, DC.  

     In one hour, all forty copies ordered by The Trover Shop were sold and signed by Jacksonville State University’s Eminent Scholar at the November 21, 2002 event. While most of the book buyers were friends and associates of the Alabama Congressman during his tenure on Capitol Hill, Trover personnel said that turnout was surprisingly strong for an academically-oriented publication.  

     Browder was in the DC area as part of the JSU Eminent Scholar Public Lecture Series  and promotion activities for The Future of American Democracy: A Former Congressman’s Unconventional Analysis (2002).
