Jacksonville State University's Eminent Scholar Glen Browder
participated as a long-distance expert witness in a Simulated Constitutional
Convention (SimConCon) at Auburn University in March. Dr. Browder, whose
background includes extensive work on electoral and constitutional reform,
spoke on campaign finance reform as part of a political science course
organized by Dr. Theodore Becker and Dr. Johnny Green. SimConCon assembled
students on campus and via the internet in anticipation, at some time in the
future, of a statewide convention to revise the Alabama constitution of
1901.
